Kathy Walmer
Kathy Walmer is the Executive Director for Family Health Ministries and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Duke Global Health Institute and UNC School of Nursing. She has a passion for non-profit research, service, and education. Kathy’s diverse background includes working as a pediatric nurse practitioner, running an adolescent health clinic, overseeing both government and industry-sponsored research, and directing educational programs. In 2003, Kathy’s skills in maternal and child health came together. She became the first Executive Director for Family Health Ministries, focusing on the health and education of women and children in resource-poor communities. Email Kathy
