Community Clean Water System Installed at FHM Leogane Family Health Center

A new water treatment system was installation is complete at the Family Health Ministries Guesthouse as part of the FHM Leogane Family Health Center to provide clean water to the community for drinking, cooking and washing hands, etc. Funding for the project was provided by University Presbyterian Church. The building to house the water treatment system was constructed by DeMatteis Construction Group. Last week, The Research Triangle Professionals of Engineers Without Boarders worked in conjunction with Living Waters for the World Haiti to install the water system equipment. A water treatment education program is underway now to inform and educate Leogane residents about the necessity for clean water and invite them to access clean water at the FHM Guesthouse.
